Installing Cobber Stable

Post by Michael_AU » Sat Jun 27, 2015 12:02 pm

Cobber is designed to install the exact same way as Debian with a few important differences.

Each version is preseeded to skip language and country selection because it does it for your automatically.

If you live in Australia you would choose the Australian version. It will automatically select Australia and Australian English. This makes the installation process quicker for you.

If you live in New Zealand you would select the New Zealand version and it would skip the country language selection because it will automatically select New Zealand and English for you.

The Papua New Guinea version will do the exact same thing as the Australian and New Zealand versions.

For the Pacific Islands version it will automatically choose English but you will need to select your country (because there are a few nations in the Pacific)

For all versions every other aspect will be the same as a regular Debian installation.
